Notre Dame High School is proud to announce that alumna Maria Debonis Braxmeier, Class of 2005, has been inducted into the Lehigh Valley Softball Hall of Fame. Braxmeier, a standout pitcher during her time at Notre Dame, holds an enduring record of 652 strikeouts, a testament to her exceptional skill and dedication on the field.

At Notre Dame, Braxmeier became a dominant force on the mound, leading her team to multiple victories while setting the record for strikeouts, season and career wins that still stand today. Her leadership, athleticism, and commitment to excellence were evident in every game, earning her recognition as one of the top athletes in the region.

The Lehigh Valley Softball Hall of Fame induction is a significant honor that celebrates the region's most accomplished, and Braxmeier joins an elite group of individuals who have made lasting contributions to the sport. Her legacy as one of the finest pitchers in Notre Dame’s history continues to inspire current and future student-athletes.
