On Monday night, Notre Dame boys basketball earned a convincing 67-38 victory over Northern Lehigh, using a dominant second half to secure their second win in a row. The Crusaders jumped ahead 19-8 after the first quarter, but Northern Lehigh battled back to narrow the gap to 25-21 at halftime. Notre Dame responded with renewed energy after the break, stretching the margin to 45-34 through three quarters before putting the game away with a decisive fourth-quarter run.
Junior Justin Manning delivered an outstanding performance, erupting for 41 points, along with 5 rebounds and 2 assists - one of the top single-game scoring efforts in recent program history. Junior Drew Boyd nearly posted a triple-double, finishing with 9 points, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds, steering the offense with pace and precision.
Sophomore Tommy Murphy added 5 points, while juniors Hayden Levy and Quinn Bohn each contributed 3 points. Freshman Cole Vrabel added 3 points, and Michael Zupper, Quinn Bohn, and Kason Hall each chipped in 2 points to round out the scoring.
