Girls Basketball Wins, Kopp's 350th Victory

The Notre Dame Crusaders Girls Basketball team edged out Lake Lehman 42-41 in the consolation game of the Allentown Central Catholic Holiday Tournament. The win not only showcased the team's resilience but also marked Coach Josh Kopp's 350th career victory with the Crusaders, a historic milestone for the program.
Junior Ava Shonk came up clutch, sinking two free throws with about 10 seconds remaining to put Notre Dame up by three. Senior Emily Lessig followed by hitting one of two free throws to extend the lead to four, rendering Lake Lehman's last-second three-pointer irrelevant.
Lessig led the Crusaders with 10 points and 9 rebounds, while senior Addison Ryan contributed 7 points and 5 rebounds. Sophomore Riley Boyle added 7 points in the balanced effort.
The Crusaders return back in action on Friday January 3rd vs. Northwestern Lehigh.
