The Notre Dame Crusaders girls basketball team faced a tough challenge Friday night, falling to Northwestern Lehigh 55-35. Despite their efforts, turnovers proved costly and kept the Crusaders from staying within reach of their opponents.
Senior Emily Lessig led the Crusaders with a strong performance, scoring 15 points and pulling down 8 rebounds. Juniors Brenna Hammerstone and Ava Shonk each contributed 6 points, showcasing determination in a challenging game.
The Crusaders will look to regroup and bounce back on Monday night when they host Palmerton at home.
