The Notre Dame Crusaders girls basketball team secured a decisive 44-24 victory over Pen Argyl on the road tonight. ND set the tone early, outscoring their hosts 18-9 in the first quarter before pulling away after halftime.
Sophomore Riley Boyle led the charge in the third quarter, recording a career-high 10 points—including two three-pointers—as the Crusaders extended their lead to 38-18 heading into the final period. Senior Emily Lessig also contributed 9 points in the win.
Notre Dame’s defense was relentless, forcing numerous turnovers and fueling the team’s fast-paced attack.
The Lady Crusaders return home on Monday night to face Catasauqua.
