Girls Cross Country Win at Lions Invitational

The Notre Dame girls varsity cross country team opened the 2024 campaign by placing three runners in the top 12 and taking the Class 2A team title at the Lions Invitational on Friday.
Junior Samantha Karwacki led the way for the Crusaders, placing fifth out of 106 runners in 20 minutes, 30 seconds. Junior Ella Schweitzer was ninth for Notre Dame in 21:05 and junior Brenna Hammerstone was 12th in 21:14.
Congratulations to the JV Medalist including sophomore Alivia Rieland who was named JV Champion and freshman Violet Dewalt placing fifth.
The Crusaders return to action Wednesday at Saucon Valley.
