The Notre Dame boys soccer team pulled off a thrilling comeback on Thursday night, overcoming a 2-0 deficit to defeat Jim Thorpe 3-2. Jim Thorpe took control early, netting two goals in the first half to put Notre Dame on the back foot.
Junior Isaiah Miles sparked the comeback, scoring Notre Dame's first goal in the second half off an assist from senior Paul Hartman. The momentum shifted as senior Matt Robertshaw set up Hartman, leveling the match at 2-2.
With the game in the balance, Notre Dame continued to press forward, and their persistence paid off when Miles found the back of the net in the final minutes, assisted by sophomore Quinn Bohn, to secure the game-winning goal.
The Crusaders return back in action Wednesday for Senior Night vs. Southern Lehigh.
