The Notre Dame Crusaders boys tennis team delivered a strong performance on the road yesterday, defeating Palisades 4-1.
In first singles, Nico Guet Cruza dominated with a commanding 6-1, 6-2 victory. Hunter Skodocek followed suit at third singles, winning 6-3, 6-1.
Notre Dame also found success in doubles play. The first doubles team of Nico Braido and Kaiden Engle battled through a competitive first set before taking control for a 7-5, 6-2 win. The second doubles duo of Aidan Dalton and Gene Behme showcased resilience, overcoming a first-set loss to clinch the match in a thrilling third-set tiebreaker, 2-6, 7-5, 7-5.
Despite a hard-fought effort, Liam Behrens fell in second singles, 4-6, 3-6.
The Crusaders will look to keep their momentum going in their next match on Monday at home against Saucon Valley.
