Behrens and Guet-Cruza Move On To District XI Tennis Doubles Semi-Finals

Notre Dame's dynamic duo, Liam Behrens and Nico Guet Cruza, made a strong showing Wednesday at the PIAA District XI Boys Tennis Doubles Tournament held at Lehigh University.
In the opening round, Behrens and Guet Cruza delivered a dominant performance, defeating Saucon Valley’s Lin/Hahr in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. The Crusader pair then faced a tougher challenge in the quarterfinals, going the distance against Allentown Central Catholic’s Keenan/Spinosa. After a hard-fought battle, they emerged victorious with a 7-6, 0-6, 6-3 win to advance to the semifinals.
The pair returns to Lehigh today, where they’ll take on Moravian Academy’s Chadha/Vicic with a spot in the District XI championship on the line.
