Notre Dame wrestling closed out the PIAA 3A State Wrestling Championship at the Giant Center in Hershey with impressive performances on the final day of competition.
133 lbs: Tanner Berkenstock battled hard but fell to Drew Scherer (Boiling Springs) in a 5-2 decision. He capped off his tournament run by securing an 8th place finish in the state.
160 lbs: Keegan Ramsay secured a 12-8 decision over Rook Smith (Montour), earning a 7th place finish in the state.
189 lbs: Dominic Sumpolec rebounded from a 4-1 decision loss to Hunter Snyder (Greater Latrobe) with a dominant fall in 1:17 over Kendahl Hoare (DuBois), claiming 5th place in the state.
