Boys Track Colonial League Championship Recap

The Notre Dame Boys Track & Field team turned in a high-impact performance at the 2025 Colonial League Track & Field Championships.
In the sprints, Alex Clark stood out as a Colonial League Champion, winning the 200 meters in 22.17. He was joined by Andrew Shupe, who placed sixth in the 100 meters (11.39), while Alexander Pirog captured second in the 400 meters (50.87). The 4x100 meter relay team of Clark, Shupe, Aaron Gordon, and Zion Wilson placed second overall with a time of 43.69. In the 4x400 meter relay, the team of Clark, Pirog, Shupe, and Gordon raced to another second-place finish in 3:31.49.
On the distance side, the 4x800 meter relay team of Dante Azzolina, Roman Perrucci, Micah Schaefer, and Emmett Rieland earned fourth place with a time of 8:45.25. Rieland also contributed with a sixth-place finish in the 3200 meters, and Azzolina placed seventh in the 1600 meters and ninth in the 800 meters.
In the field events, Aaron Gordon cleared 5-08.00 to finish fifth in the high jump. In the throws, Ethan Weems earned fifth in the discus (136-00) and seventh in the shot put (43-01.75), while Joshua Scherer placed eighth in the shot put (42-08.25).
