The Notre Dame softball team dropped a hard-fought battle to the Palisades Pirates, 7-6, on Wednesday.
After falling behind early, the Crusaders showed fight, narrowing the gap in the later innings. Emily Szczepanski drove in two runs and pitched 1.2 innings in the circle. Rachel Fisher provided a steady presence with two hits and 4.1 innings of relief. Kelsey Bedics contributed with two stolen bases, and the defense turned a timely double play.
The Crusaders return home on Friday for Senior Day as they take on the Pen Argyl Green Knights. Come out and support our seniors in their final regular season home game!
