Swimming vs. Saucon Valley

Notre Dame swimmers were back in the pool on Friday night, continuing to race for time improvement while gaining valuable meet experience alongside Moravian Academy and Saucon Valley.
On the boys side, freshman Jaxon Ellis turned in a strong performance in the 200 IM with a time of 2:25.31, then followed with a 56.18 swim in the 100 freestyle. Senior Mark Otten competed in both sprint events, posting times of 27.62 in the 50 freestyle and 1:05.08 in the 100 freestyle. Freshman Anthony Brazzo recorded times of 28.18 in the 50 freestyle and 1:05.16 in the 100 freestyle, while fellow freshman Lucas Wefing added efforts of 1:04.05 in the 100 freestyle and 1:10.88 in the 100 backstroke.
The boys also raced in the 200 medley relay, with Wefing, Brazzo, Ellis, and Otten combining for a time of 2:05.58.
On the girls side, sophomore Mia Uliana continued her steady progression with a 29.43 swim in the 50 freestyle and a 1:14.12 in the 100 backstroke. Freshman Makayla Hoole gained additional varsity experience, clocking a 36.02 in the 50 freestyle and finishing the 100 breaststroke in 1:42.76.
Notre Dame will return to the pool on Monday, hosting Tamaqua in their next home meet.
