Keegan Ramsay had a strong showing on Day 2, earning a 7th-place finish and contributing 15 team points.
- Consolation Round 6: Ramsay secured a victory by fall over Riley Johnson (Skutt Catholic) at 4:02, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure.
- Consolation Round 7: Ramsay fought a close match against Shane McFillin (Bethlehem Catholic), falling in sudden victory (3-0).
- 7th Place Match: Ramsay capped off his tournament with a win by medical forfeit over Bradlee Farrer (Pleasant Grove).

The Notre Dame-Green Pond wrestling team faced elite competition at the prestigious Ironman Tournament at Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The Crusaders battled against some of the nation's top programs, with standout performances and gritty efforts across multiple weight classes.
Day 1 Highlights:
- 106 lbs: Cael Mueller (2-2) scored 4.5 team points with two strong wins in the consolation bracket. Mueller rebounded from an opening-round loss with a tech fall victory over Randen Wright (Bixby) and a decision win over Jacob Naylor (McDonogh School). His tournament ended in Round 4 after a tough loss to Eddie George (Blair Academy).
- 126 lbs: Cooper Feltmann (0-2) received a bye in the opening round but was defeated by Gauge Botero (Faith Christian Academy) and Josh Vazquez (Montini Catholic), finishing a hard-fought tournament without scoring team points.
- 132 lbs: Tanner Berkenstock (0-2) dropped two tough matches, including a narrow 8-6 decision to Curtis Zion Borge (Westlake) and a major decision loss to Drew Roggie (St. Christopher’s School).
- 138 lbs: Gavyn Kelton (1-2) earned 3.0 team points, including an impressive major decision win over Cameron Plotts (Perry). Despite a strong showing, Kelton was eliminated in Round 4 after a narrow decision loss to Ryan Kennedy (Spire Academy).

- 175 lbs: Dominic Sumpolec (3-1) shone in his bracket, amassing 6.0 team points. Sumpolec secured wins over Connor Diemel (Hononegah), Brody Kelly (IC Catholic Prep), and Colin Wooldridge (La Salle) to stay alive in the consolation bracket. He will wrestle in the blood round tomorrow with a chance to secure a medal.
- 190 lbs: Connor Smalley (1-2) scored 3.0 team points with a dominant pin over Nolan McCarthy (Wyoming Seminary). His run ended in Round 2 of the consolation bracket.
- 215 lbs: Noah Knorp (0-2) wrestled valiantly but was unable to advance after major decision losses to Danny Zmorowski (Lake Catholic) and Danny Hoke (St. Paris Graham).

Notre Dame delivered an overwhelming performance on the mat, dominating Southern Lehigh 69-3 in a decisive victory. The Crusaders quickly took control of the dual, benefiting from several forfeits and later showcasing their strength with key pins throughout the night.
The match started with a series of forfeits, as Tanner Shear (107), Cael Muller (114), and Aiden Vanicky (121) all earned easy wins by forfeit, giving them an early 18-0 lead. The first contested match saw Cooper Feltman (127) pin Southern Lehigh’s Connor Wayock in a mere 34 seconds, further extending their lead to 24-0.
At 133, Tanner Berkenstock faced off against Griffin King (SLH) in a competitive match, winning 11-6 by decision. ND's dominance continued as Gavyn Kelton (139) earned a pin over Keith Barker (SLH) in 1:09, followed by Jared Gonzalez (145) who secured another pin over Anastasios Kiprislas (SLH) at 1:46.
The momentum did not slow as Stephen Bialek (152) and Cole Kanuck (160) each added falls in 1:02, solidifying the Crusaders command of the match. SLH’s only win came at 172, where Brock Frable outlasted Keegan Ramsay in a tight 4-2 decision.
Notre Dame closed the night with a string of dominant performances: Dominic Sumpolec (189) won by forfeit, Connor Smalley (215) pinned Matthew Ryan (SLH) in 52 seconds, and Noah Knorp (285) earned another forfeit victory to cap the impressive 69-3 final score.
